Indoor/Outdoor Venues
Many couples are opting for venues that can have an indoor/outdoor experience. Ceremony outdoors and reception indoors to get the feel of a change of scenery while still offering simplicity.

Smaller Amount of Guests
Couples are likely to choose to have less people at their wedding, so venues may not need to hold such a large capacity. Think micro weddings of 50 people and smaller weddings of 100-150.
"Wedding Weekend" Celebrations
Forget a one-day celebration, we are going to be seeing a lot more multi-day wedding celebrations in the near future. Couples may do weekend-long events with activities on each day leading up to the wedding and the day after the wedding.
Weekday Weddings
Weekday weddings are becoming more and more popular. More couples are going to be choosing weekday wedding as you can normally save a good amount of money on a weekday wedding.

Layouts & Decor
Couples are going to begin to get more creative with the way they lay out their ceremony and reception tables and chairs. Pew style seating with straight rows and 10 chairs per row on each side of the aisle? Forget it! Think half circle and all the inbetween for new exciting ways to seat your guests. Long tables where you get the chance to sit with more guests will be another thing we may start to see more of in 2026. Or even curved and winding tables will be another really cool way couples will want to seat their guests.
Florals
Florals on Florals! Couples will not be cutting back on florals anytime soon. We believe beyond couples using florals as centerpieces and bouquets, couples will also be hanging them from the wedding venue ceiling and much more.

Lounge Seating Areas
Couples will continue to set-up a lounge seating area with couches and pillows for guests to sit throughout the reception.
As couples plan their weddings for 2026, storytelling, flexible indoor/outdoor space, and unique guest experiences are some of the wedding venue trends we may see in 2026.
