The Dos + Don'ts of Hosting Your Graduation Party

Updated: Apr 11, 2023

Graduation party season is near! If you're a grad and planing your graduation party, you're in the right place. We're here to tell you all the dos and don'ts of hosting your grad party!

Do Send Your Invitations Early

Grad party weekends are jam packed for many people. Be sure to get your invites out a month or two in advance so your guests can plan.

Do Plan Ahead

Plan ahead as most as you possibly can. Set up your tables, chairs and decor the night before your party so you do not have to worry about it on the day of the party.

Don't Worry About the Food

Make it easy on yourself, cater your food! We recommend buffet style for graduation parties.

Do Create a Music Playlist

Play music in the background to set the mood. Here's some ideas you can add to your graduation music playlist.

Don't Forget Ice

Graduation season can be a warm time of year. Don't forget ice to put water bottles, pop, etc in ice.

Don't Forget to Plan an Activity

Provide something to keep your guests entertained. Maybe you have yard games outside or a trivia game about the grad.
