Where to Have a Bridal Shower
From having a bridal shower at your home to booking a venue - there are many options on places to have a bridal shower, you just have to know where to look! We recommend doing a Google search, asking for recommendations on social media, etc to find out about places you may have not thought of in your area.
A Home: Many bridal showers take place at the home of someone helping plan the shower. If the home has the space, why not take advantage of this more intimate setting.
Restaurant: Many restaurants have private party rooms you can rent out. Ask the bride what her favorite restaurants are and see if they have a space you can rent out.
Country Club: Many country clubs have a wonderful area for parties. Normally you have to be a member to rent the space, but maybe one of the guests being invited to the shower has a membership to a country club in the area that you can take advantage of.
Hotel: Hotels tend to have party rooms as well as in-house catering. Call around to a few hotels and see what they have to offer.
Park: For a casual outdoorsy shower, why not have it at your local park.
Many of these places will have an event space on-site that you never even knew about until now!
How to Decide on a Bridal Shower Venue
Keeping the budget, style and location of the venue should be your main deciding factors when you are trying to decide on a venue. We recommend looking at a few, maybe making a pro/con list and then deciding.
Who Pays for the Bridal Shower Venue
Typically whoever is hosting the bridal shower will pay for the venue. It is important that the host has a budget in mind before running off to book a space for the shower.
When to Book a Bridal Shower Venue
Bridal shower venues can book up, so it is important to have a space booked about three months in advance of the potential shower date. You don't want to be scrambling last minute to find a venue.
Once you've officially booked your bridal shower venue, now you can start the other part of the planning process - the decorations, the invitations, food, etc!
