You Need to Invite Everyone

Some people say you need to invite everyone you know to your wedding. If you were to invite everyone you know, chances are your guest list would be far too large. We suggest building your guest list based on your closest family and friends.

You Have to Spend a Ton of Money

Weddings can be expensive, but that doesn’t mean you have to have an expensive wedding for it to be a beautiful day. There are many ways you can save money on your wedding day like doing a buffet style dinner instead of a plated meal and making your own decorations. Set a budget, decide the three things that are most important to you and stick to it.

You Have to Follow All Wedding Planning Traditions

DIY Projects Always Save Money

Some think that doing everything DIY for your wedding will always save money, which isn't always the case. Sometimes just buying the item and hiring someone to do it for you can ultimately save you money when you factor in your time and materials.

You Need to Have an Equal Number of Bridesmaids and Groomsmen

While people think that you have to have the same number of bridesmaids to groomsmen, this isn't true. If one of you have more than the other that is perfectly fine, don't just pick someone you wouldn't have if it's just to make the number equal.
